  • the catch being that the brick has to not only be dry, but cured, as in dried all the way through. Acrylics surface dry in a few minutes, but can take days to dry all the way through. If it's not completely cured, the mortar paint can reactivate the brick, giving you not red bricks with gray mortar, but a dirty pink over the whole model
