Doug, When I was 7 years old (74 or 75 ) got ahold of one of dads 8 tracks of Iron Butterfly, your music really got through to me .it was so unlike anything else,truly ahead of its time your soulful organ playing ,rons drumming w minimal symbal chatter the bass player the grooves ,and I remember reading that you left the band right after in a gadda da vida, I always wondered what became of you and wish you well ! quite a statement walking away from the band at that time ,new songs beautiful

Doug - great to hear from you. This music is undoubtedly beautiful, BUT - come back where you belong!!! Iron Butterfly go on European tour this fall, why not join them back for some great gigs (maybe last time ever?).
