A brief video demonstrating how 3Dconnexion's SpaceNavigator 3D mouse enables Second Life residents to move, fly and build freely in the Second Life Grid Platform with new levels of control and immersion.
I didn't imply that virtual worlds were the only reason for it to be born, sorry if that remarked irked you. And on an additional note, we do "3D CAD"-like operations in Second Life, so there's really no need to emphasize that it was born because of 3D CAD, because that's exactly what some people use it for in Second Life.
This is a 1 hand mouse. He's holding it in his other hand, which is stupid. The device is heavy, so you can pull up on it and not lift it off the desk.
I have one, it's awesome ;)
