Con Video 4: AFest 2011; Video three - Stories and Goodbyes

And so the stories of the convention come out. Stories of win and stories of fail. Stories of awesome and stories of things that are not so nice.

Then as night falls on the final full day, a few more memories come out. Apologies to a friend for not being able to see their skit. And then a tearful end.

It's hard to say goodbye to a place where you considered normal. It's never easy to leave a place where you don't have to hide behind a mask and can be yourself.

I just want to thank everyone for this weekend and making it special for me: Blue, Zander, Zander's wife, Zander's son Phoenix, James, Eli, Garrett, Dante, Erin, Corey, K-Man, Alex, that Shinra cosplayer... Everyone.

A-Fest 2011 was wonderful. Here's to 2012.
