  • it was beautiful because it was real.. thanks for posting...

  • I'm glad you appreciated it, it's true he sang from the bottom of his heart, he's real and he sings well... RIP Gene

  • Erm...I still love the song too, that's why I searched for and why i watched it. Merely a comment on how my ear has changed in the last 20 something years.

  • I understand, the same happened to me

  • Damn, how bad is his voice?!?! i used to love this guy so much! LOL

  • Of course everyone is entitled to his own opinion ;-) maybe he didn't have an extraordinary voice but he put his heart at it that's why I like it

  • @CocoaChaos13 that was sad as i loved him wile growing up sorry for your loss was you his brother? if so then glad to have had the chance to talk. peace and love

  • I can't believe that "Ovation" cut this entire scene from the rerun.

  • @rustyben911 Yes.

    May he rest in peace.

  • How perfect his voice was or wasn't isn't the point ... Those of us who grew up on this show were attracted to the characters and storylines. In the middle of the season one DVD, I find myself being touched as I get reaquainted with this unique show that has only been matched topic wise by only a few shows (Boston Public maybe), but as a whole has never been duplicated. Great stuff.

  • @Vanda67 did he die from aids?
