The pieces from the 2nd section, based on Pol Chambost's pottery, will only look good on a 34/36 who's close to 6 feet. My mother is a 32, but at 5 feet, these clothes just won't fly. I find most of the 2nd section silly and alienating to women (however, the dress at 2:40 is elegant), while Jil's own designs were effortless and flawless, while being empowering to the nth. Her designs were a manifestation in the 21st century of the elegance of the early/mid 20th century designers.
it was announced not too long ago. she will be doing all of the clothing for the company so itll be intresting to see wot she does considering how cheap the clothing costs and her reputation for luxury textiles.
I miss her desperately - Jil's clothes were SUPREMELY elegant, and transcend the trappings of trendiness. The cut and fabrication of her designs was amazing. My mother has a skirt from her final collection, and the construction is just so elegant. When altered, the seamstress noted the fabric was so tightly woven it rejected pins. I'm happy to hear she'll be back! Where did you hear this? Will she do men's too?
i dont really miss her per se becos i loved raf even before he took helm of jil sander. also in case you didnt know yet, jil sander is goin to be designer for uniqlo clothing. weird huh? im very anxious to see wot she does with a mainstream label like that.
I know where you got this, and it should be a good source, but Murcof's Cielo is in this playlist too. Tisk tisk!

I miss Jil too...
Simons is very good- but Jil Sander was a soul of that label...
Now we will have Italian designs without German precision...
That collection- second part I mean- will looks great only on size 34/36... It's really bad for that label...
And Lady in final moment of the show was really sad...
