A very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everybody.

This Christmas, I couldn't help but to think of the families missing their loved ones following the terrible tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut.

I am fully aware that there is very little we can do to console the families and loved ones affected this Christmas, but for those of you, like me, who wanted to find a small way to help, we created this PSA: http://youtu.be/7DmXGdWI8Ls for The Sandy Hook School Support Fund. The fund goes entirely to the victims' families and to services to help the surviving children cope - no management fees will be taken by the United Way. It is my sincere hope that this can offer just the slightest hint of solace this Christmas as these families bear the unfathomable.

Some information on the UW Fund:

United Way of Western Connecticut is committed to providing support and resources where and when they become identified and needed. As people from our area and beyond respond to this heartbreaking tragedy, they are turning to United Way looking for ways to help. In response, United Way of Western Connecticut in partnership with Newtown Savings Bank has created the 'Sandy Hook School Support Fund' that will be able to provide support services to the families and community that has been affected.
