Ham International Multimode 2 SSB Propagation

Here is a short video of a Ham International Multimode 2 being used on SSB when there was a bit of propagation running.

The radio is 30 years old and is the same make and model which i owned way back in 1980!

I remember rushing home from school to listen to the insane whistling on the triple 5, and hearing the Italians blasting through all evening long!

The station you are hearing is a local station "Skippy" aka 26 MR ??!

Lovely radio the multimode.

When i was a yung un it was my very first ssb rig and like you i used to sprint home from school to get on the air.

Many moons later i have another in the box and mint condition, just lovely lad.

Mega shout out to 2e1dxy, had to laugh when I see this. I thought you were joking about sticking it on here. The ham sounds and looks nice there, well done for picking up a good one. The kenny sounds nice from this end also, like you said "sounds like foxtrot mary. Chee ohh there matey, catch you on the flipside.....
