On the HF the colors look over-saturated to me. About the sharpness I can't guess at this resolution..

7D is way more sharper than the HF10 and the amount of wiggle is way less which is a very important thing the lag

I can tell you that I was wondering the same question and after some test I found that 7D needed a micro adjustment on the 24-105 l lens so after this
7D is sharper than the HF10 but not too much.
This sample video was done before the micro adjustment. I will post a new video sample later.
