in 1958 at the Loew'sTheatre, Flushing, NY - I was at the last of 3 concerts they gave that day. The Passions sang Just To Be With You, I Only Want You, and Jungle Drums (a flip side record). The crowd begged for Gloria. Jimmy said he didn't think he could do it - his voice was strained. Well, they did Gloria and it was their best performance ever - he hit and exceeded every note in Gloria. A finish well remembered 52 years later.
