Munindra and Taungpulu Sayadaw from 1980 in Boulder Creek California

This video was recently transfered from VHS tape to DVD and is poor quality but it at least gives us some looks at Munindra and his wonderful teachings along with a brief meeting with the revered Venerable Taungpulu Sayadaw who came from Burma to teach in Boulder Creek. California at the T.K.A.D.C Monastery in the late 70's and 80's.

At one point Munindra talks about "How to become the King of Heaven", that is to not only be generous and to give Dana (gifts) but to be the instigator of others to give as well. He was always teaching everyone that he met.

Munindra is the teacher from Bodh Gaya who was credited with teaching many Vipassana teachers including Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzburg and the incredible woman from Calcutta- Dipa Ma. There soon will be a book out about his life.
