Normally about 1 inch deep water flows gently down the spillway and the bridge at the bottom is about 12 feet above the water. The water is so high on the baseball fields below that the water is flowing in from the other side of the wooden bridge where it would normally flow out. There is no drain that the water is flowing into, but instead is a huge hydraulic hole with the water exiting way below the surface under the 12 feet of water rushing in under the wooden bridge.
you'd never escape the hydraulic. It is recirculating all the way back to the bridge! Scary!
