@jimmymac32 - It is about the Battle of Britain when the British had to fend off the Nazi air raid over England. That, I think even Germans can understand because they know that Germany attacked England. Though they could, I don't think Maiden will ever make a song that glorifies the allied victory over Germany simply for the sake of not offending anyone. They've touched on it in another song, but it's lyrics are about the tragedies of war, and that's quite a different perspective.

2008 was so much better I just didn't like the final frontier playlist the haven't play run to the hills, Aces High, Children of the Damned and many good songs

"The trooper" is about english soliders who got owned by russians.Although Maiden plays this song in the UK.
