Bliss - A Good Life

Audition for EliteEquestrianTeam

This is me and my 5yo Chesnut Sports Horse Mare Bliss, I've had her since Febuary and she is the first horse that I have owned (having loaned a couple), my parents arn't horsey and I care for and train her myself, having lessons when I can afford them.

Shes not an expensive push button horse who you can aim at a 5ft hedge, she has just turned 5 and has a lot of learning to do. We achieved our first goal of a dressage test at 60% last night, qualifyed for qricklands and I was thrilled! She is learning and improving everyday and thats whats great about her. We've had some great comments from all of our dressage tests, getting better every time. We have our ginger moments but doesn't everyone?

I also thought she jumped really well last night 2ft6ish (in the indoor clips) there were lots of fillers and after the weekend where we had an arguement over jumping she has got over herself and jumped like a pro.

We have an ODE coming up so hopefully she'll enjoy that too, she loves xc and has been very honest. I am hoping to have her eventing at 2ft6+ level by the end of the summer and work on her dressage over the winter. I am also hoping to work on her canter to improve her jumping tecnique as she is very weak, being young and having had a couple months off after a kick to her cannon bone.

I'm very excited about her, I love her to peices and have made her a promise that she will stay with me for life I just hope I am always able to keep that. She is my Badminton horse she just doesn't know it yet ;)
