I went to 2 four week TIG courses, ( beginner then advanced ) 2 nights a week. And I must say there is a big difference between knowing how to strike an ark and knowing how to weld. I highly recommend training courses. there is so much more to it than just running a bead.

I hate flux core , it makes too much smoke. that crap is for outside/
