  • Ridiculous. It looks like a mockery of the city. Its a city not a damned amusement park! People live and work there, things have to get done, people have to be able to get to where they have to go, on time! All this does is make the city look stupid and allow fat annoying tourists to rest their underdeveloped legs.

I will laugh when the homeless start using those chairs as beds. Then we'll see what Bloomberg does!

  • why are there a bunch of fat people siting on chairs and scratching there butts in the middle of the busiest place in the world?

see all

  • lawnchairs didnt seem that common when i went there in april. I think its a great idea

  • i see some people on both sides of the argument wanting busy streets and others wanting lawn chairs. there is a solution. why not make lawn chairs on wheels?

  • The criminal Zionist gov if can kill their own 3000 innocent citizen just to create a reason for attack on Iraq and Afghanistan by pre-plan to take American into war and terror and destroy it finically can create 100 of faisal shazad. It's not strange to the world people. Is it justice from 10 year everyday by using all types of dirty new technology killing everyday Pakistani and Mus all over the world and making 1000 of people homeless they will not take revenge and they will love to American?

  • Awfull! Times Square is meant to be busy and noisy, whyt are these guys sitting on "NYC heart"?!

  • I 2nd that. I come to times square because it symbolizes the epitome of a metropolitan. If I want peace and tranquility Ill go to Montana or Beach.

  • exactly, when I go to times square I wanna see taxis and a busy atmosphere. Not a bunch of fat asses passed out on lawn chairs. I like making areas of broadway car-free but please not Times Square.

  • yeah they're fugly and don't fit there at all, please get rid of them!! times square now looks like a civil war aftermath -.-

  • I like the idea, but get rid of the damn lawn chairs. It makes things look tacky and lazy
