there is good evidence that aid works if directed to countries with sound economic policies and functioning institutions this not the case in Burundi

all the money goes directly to helping the children, it is nothing to do with the government. Aid is most needed in countries with disfunctioning governments!

Good luck! I hope that country I spent 17 years of my life in will get back on its feet one day. It breaks my heart to see the devastation and toll on human lives.
