@daleyander2468 the dog is tiny! it couldn't even kill a slug! a cat can jump and hide!

some cats have to be declawed! people could have nice stuff that they don't want ruined! would you rather put your cat outside and get it ran over! once i didn't want to declaw my cat so i put it outside, then i came out side and she was ran over! i did this before, i had 3 cats die on me because of this! get you cat declawed if you really have to, not for abuse!

Since Cat is not able to protect itself without nails. Dog going kill right away cat dies. Good job you owner.

@YourDarkAccomplice thanks :D alot of people are quick to blame the owners, but i think word just needs to get out more, but not by trolling lol

@munky3691 - You are very educated and compassionate. I read that doctors intentionally refrain from using the word "amputation" cause it will drive customers away. Others say that amputation isn't really the case, and drive the customer to just see the "benefits" or "one sideded-self-serving" story. But in either case, I doubt the pet owner is evilly rubbing his/her hands together and saying "YES YES!!! AMPUTATE THE KITTY!! YES!!!" lol people can be so melodramatic. Owners just need to research

@tool2342 Yes, I know it is. That wasn't the point I was making. I was trying to state that it's not good to jump to conclusions, assuming the uploader made the sheer decision to declaw the cat. If they were young, their parents could have made the choice. Or, they could have been filming a friends cat.
And with my friends cat, the fungus would have eventually spread to the flesh causing further infection, and death. You can't compare it to an ingrown toenail (which I've had plenty of)

@Scullnblades If they have something wrong with them it's one thing, but removing the fingers off a healthy cat is completely out of order! And there is no good reason for it. People get ingrowing toenails, where they often get infected and the nail needs to be removed - we don't remove the nail or toe for the matter on random people just in case this happens at some point in their future...
Why would you declaw your cat?

@tool2342 cat claws are not like human finger nails. unlike us, their nail is actually part of the distal phalanx. so basically nail and bone are fused, making it impossible to just remove the nails. that's why they do the amputation. the term "declaw" is a very misleading term and alot of people don't know that it's an amputation and that's why they declaw. don't call them barbaric because people love their pets and alot of them don't mean to cause harm or suffering.
