Hey guys when ever i turn this on it says non-system disk or disk error replace and stike any key when ready... Anyone have anyway to solve this??

I have just bought one of these, they are old BUT heres how to make it much faster:
Solder two pins on ICS chip ->this increases board from 100FSB to 133FSB. Upgrade processor to 1.8GHz. It will now run at 2.4GHz and is comparable to entry level dual-cores!!!

I got 2 problems;
1-If I have my usb mouse attached and I start it up, the mouse pad dosnt work(to make it work i have to restart computer and take off the usb mouse)
2-Battery dosnt work properly it maximum goes for 10minutes then gives me low battery message. Even if I charge the laptop for full night and unplug the ac adaptor it only works for like 10 minutes... I seriously need some help with this laptop!

i think you need a battery and you need to install mouse pad drivers
