  • Its Otherworldly, theres no silly effort to over-do this scene with close-ups and jumpy editing, and grey somehow gives it a dusty unified quality also quite alien. I like it.

  • The static composition and the scale relationship of the player to the room and the distance to the viewer make this a brilliant little scene. The childs disinterest and placement so close also makes for great domestic realism.

  • I would like more informatin about the movie. The book I have read it at least a thousand times and its the best portrait of Bach that I know of
