Kony 2012 Video is Misleading

In response to Kony 2012 video made by InvisibleChildren, I do not think the LRA or Kony is good and I do not support them. I do believe justice should be served in that case.

However, I do not believe U.S. Military intervention is necessary and will cause more harm than good. I believe in the connection between oil & AFRICOM as well as trade. I believe the African governments have the power and ability to find Kony and arrest him on their own as well as disarm the LRA.

I am simply promoting the education one should do before they believe everything they see. The Kony 2012 Video is not the only information you should rely on. Research. I am all for the cause, just not the video that was made. Do your own research and come back with more info!

I believe this video is really good example to how people aren't really educated in international affairs. I would bet majority of people whom watched Kony 2012 didn't do much more research on Uganda. She talks about how people jump to a conclusion off a single video without learning more about it. This video is not mis leading nor is it 100% accurate as far as i know. But still her message is clear people need to become more educated on these situations if they want to resolve them.

As long as there is injustice in the world it SHOULD be stopped. Sorry Kony's attrocities aren't extreme enough for you. I should think if children are being raped and murdered regardless of how many there are, it should *probably* be looked in to. Oof. This video made my stomach hurt.
