3D Arcade Tour in Sketchup8 PART 2

Thank you to www.ocremix.org for all the awesome video game music. The website is a real treat to my ears.
Extra big thanks to all other contributors for helping create the models. Together we have built a huge depository of over 500 digital models which can act as a virtual museum for future generations. TheShanMan, Gibbous, Jeffsgames, JeffC, DogP, Muerto, Zork40, Tbombaci, James_in_MD, KillerKades, and all other modelers are responsible in part to the energy I put forth into trying to create this database. Thanks for your help guys. I will return in 2012 to begin modeling more virtual cabs...

Just browse thru the collection and download any model for free to help you decide how best to arrange your gameroom. Most every model you see in my collection was painstakingly measured and photographed to accurately model in virtual space. As you can imagine, I've gotten my fair share of awkward stares.

Sharp looking models, Gozer. Will Google Sketchup let you create interiors? Would nice to see these in a famous arcade setting- like an old Time Out, original Twin Galaxies or Fun Spot.

Absolutely. If you recall, I made a exact replica layout tour of Richie Knucklez' arcade back in August. As long as you have the building's dimensions, you can build any arcade. What to put on the walls (like posters, graphics, and whatnot) that's the difficult part. You gotta track down vintage photos and articles in old magazines to find out what the textures should look like.
