The Starfish surreal Part 1

This video-poem is about a love triangle.

The original footage was filmed in France, released in 1928 as the Man Ray film "L'etoile De Mer" and has been influential ever since.

All artists desire to move on and explore new avenues, rather than dwell on their past work and I beleive "L'etoile De Mer" is no exception.

I have removed the awful 1970's lettering which I beleive should not be present now and replaced them with specially-shot replacement images, incorporating a degree of randomness in them.

As Man Ray himself said in 1958, it matters not whether Dada is dead or Dada is alive, it's whether there is Dadaism or not is what matters.

Man Ray the person is gone, but his infleunce remains. It is up to us to build on his work.
