@julissful I think it's more like he holds back when he's singing a duet with someone. He very easily takes over songs because his voice is so much more powerful and beautiful, and he tries to hold himself back from doing that, but in doing so stifles his parts.

From my perspective, Hyoshin does not live up to his greatest when he sings in english.
Almost seems like he holds back because he is not confident in his pronunciation.

Hyo did okay, until he started adlibing in the beginning, all the other adlibs fit though. Lena shined with the technical voice again; well-suited for "straight-laced" pop standards/jazz.

I'm sorry, but Korean singers are actually great; well, at least to us Koreans. And since this was presented in Korea, and b/c u sound like u prefer some other singers, ur ear may not be used to these kinds of singing styles and may interpret this as "bad singing" or sth like that. Also, they have creativity if u notice that they have changed some parts of the original song, k? Oh yeah, not all Korean singers sound like a little mermaid...
