@2221alex Because they feel the need to defend their "precious" Kobe, even though Kobe was the furthest thing from everyone elses mind. Why bother defending then? Because they believe that Kobe is God and anything that might look remotely incredible would be the equivalent, in their minds, of God recieving a busted lip from a mortal, which would thus disprove God. They're SCARED!!!
