Hakkinen was the only driver who ever really challenged Schmacher. After he retired i lost interest because i knew there were no Hakkinen's in the field.
He wasa great driver.

@Apeman1991 Uh, excuse me? I'm sorry, but this is a simple hater comment here. If he won 7 championships, he must have been doing something right. Jerez 1996, Canada 2011, Imola 2005, Hungary 1998 and Monaco 1997. Watch them and then make your decision. Notice how all of these races were when his car sucked and he wasn't even close to the title. If he was an idiot, he wouldn't even be scoring points, let alone wins. You can bash all you want, but please give credit when it's due.

@zippinen he did win some GP's but Hakkinen and McLaren were quite another league when it comes to performance...and they won...a lot! Thus grabbing both drivers' and constructors' championship..
