@chorinicpker Yes, power is NOT everthing!!! Veyron is great in straight lines, but could be better in corners and handling!!! It´s very heavy weight!

@CherylKimberleylover Most likely because it's 987 horsepower to the wheels. It has 1001 on the engine but when you put the engine in the car it reduces the actual horsepower. Like a shelby gt500 for instance, it doesn't have 500 hp.
