Not really. The pythons weren't big drug takers, I think Terry Jones said once he was usually offered some at parties but he didn't fancy it. In fact by The Meaning of Life, even Graham Chapman wasn't drinking anymore. The pythons were/are just delightfully unhinged, talented guys. They don't need drugs to come up with their material.

The python team would have gotten massive props had they referenced the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, 42 and whatnot. I mean given their history with douglas adams it would have been the least they could do.
