  • How is the softness of the Crown vs. Sigma? I feel that the crown face brushes aren't that soft, but I don't have any sigma brushes to compare them to. I think that the crown face brushes are a little "pokey", haha

  • @animegirl86 I don't find either to be more or less soft. I think it depends on the type of brush and whether it's a synthetic brush or not. I guess the Crown Bushes are kind of pokey. I haven't noticed much of a difference between the two brush sets regarding softness though. I know that's not very helpful, but that's my opinion.

  • Thx so much for comparison. I was curious about Sigma brush set. Glad I got Crown brush set @ <50% of Sigma set, but v. good quality. The brush you held up after E55 comparison is a doe foot brush, I believe. LetzMakeup talks about it in the Auilnn (sp?) line of brushes from Ireland, uses it for blending in & above deep-set crease. That brush sheds a lot--every time I've washed it in fact. The flat white brush is an eyeliner pusher. GossMakeupArtist talks about it in one of his eyeliner videos.

  • @mottledglory Wow!!! So helpful! I saw LetzMakeup talking about that brush and I felt like a dork for being like...uhhh, not sure what this if for! hahaha. Thank you so much! I have to admit, I use my brushes a lot, but the ones I am not sure about...I kind of just leave in the corner! Now that I know what they are used for I will definitely try to use them! :) :) :)

  • How long do the Crown Brushes take to arrive?? I bought mine on Dec 28th, they shipped on Jan 5th and I still have not received them :(

  • @SolarEyes86 My brushes took over two weeks to receive. I hope this helps!

  • @LucyBearXx It's ironic you say that, at the law firm I worked at, they made me re-record all their voice mail answering services with my voice. hahaha. :) :) :) Thank you!

  • crown brush set and coastal scents brush set come in the same bag.. is that weird?

  • @animegirl86 The 'Syntho' synthetic brushes from Crown are the softest - their animal hair brushes are a little bit scratchy.
