  • I love this cover...sounds like black gospel with blues to me! so powerful!

  • @Amhlair That is not David Crosby that is Carlo Radle playing Bass.

  • @7beets I'm totally with you on this one. There are some great musicians out there, and were in the 70's, but as far as I am concerned, no one ever was close to being as red hot as Leon Russell. It doesn't matter what he is singing, he just wraps that voice, those melodies and those words around you like silk and takes you away with him. I also love "No Man's Land" - the song and especially the video. His magic will be singing out into the universe long after we are all gone.

  • Leon is the King of Rock and Roll

  • Leon Russells no-mans land on you tube. his last known video. I think he was 50 ish?

  • There will never be another Leon Russell, He is one incredible human being, and now in his age and probably then too He is A true southern gentleman. Very Humble and in my eyes, he is the king of music. can't think of a range of music he has not done. and o.k., yes I am Obsessed with him, In Love with him, everything about him. glad to be around in his time. watch no mans land on you tube. Peace out

  • Wow, for you whippersnappers, how many incredible musicians can you see here? George, of course. Eric Clapton? Ringo? Klaus Voorman, Jesse Ed Davis? Billie Preston, the Fifth Beatle? David Crosby at 5:22. Damn!

  • Wow go there Leon and look at George shitting a brick bless

  • @7beets I saw a video of him just a few years before this one. His hair was slicked back, looked like a totally different guy. Except for his teeth. They were the same. No I am not looking at his teeth for talent, I have been listening to Leon Russell, probably when you were still in diapers. Met him in Austin when my stepbrother was performing. Leon Raines, Willie Nelson and Leon Russell. I was young then and his teeth kind of stood out. I was probably smoking something I shouldn't.

  • I Love you Leon
