  • My ride doesnt make a clunk sound, rather a squeaking one when I go over bumps, or even hitting the brakes at times... Would the links be also the cause for the steering wheel to wobble?

  • @tekatero tekatero sounds like you have several other problems. It may help to join a jeep club or have an expert look at you ride.

  • i have a kia sportage 2005 and make that noise clunk in the front i replaced the 4 struts and the noise still there can be that? the links look kind of broke and i can see grease comingout from them. can be something else? i hope not. i took it too much off road before

  • EILeonidas2009 yes you could have a bad front sway bar end and Yes it could be something else. It may be a good idea the front end checked out by a trusted service tec.

  • i have a monte carlo and when i go over slight bumps or cracks in the road i hear a noise in the back you think in could be that? i will check tomorrow but i thought it was my spoiler that was loose...

  • could be severl things. What year is your monte carlo? And do you live/ drive in the rust belt?

  • thanks for the video, i have that sound too driving in the city, i will check the endlink when it stop raining.

  • Just take that bad boy off, sway bars are for noobs.

  • @mictrik nice sleuthing there gumshoe

  • Well, this is common and very easy and quick to fix. Your link bushings both top and bottom are worn. You can get a kit from a number of suppliers that will include the link bushings plus the bar bushings. You can get them in rubber or urethane. I bought a urethane set and just replaced link bushings as the bar bushings were in perfect condition. Urethane lasts longer and is stiffer but may squeak if not properly lubricated. This was 8 months ago and so far no squeak or noticeable wear...

  • tks i fixed the prob, it was the sway bar plastics i dont know how they are call but i replaced them and its ok now.

  • it is an 07... and i live in the southwest... Arizona. i know for sure that my spoiler is loose because one side wiggles when you apply pressure and the other doesnt. but i saw ur video and thought it could possibly be this because the noise is slightly loud. Also when i go through a highway loop we have here i hit a slight disturbance in the road when i go over it the car feels like it wiggles side to side not sure if that normal or because of the bar. thanks for your help
