One of the main reasons you chose to support Rangers was that your countryman Edu signed for them.

Things haven't been going well and Edu has been racially abused. We told you that Rangers fans have a history of abusing black players (especially Celtic players) but you didn't believe it. Now they have abused one of their own.

Edu may be leaving Rangers now. You should do the smart thing and turn your back on Rangers too. Any club is only as good as its fans - and Rangers fans are the WORST !

RANGERS TO ROOT OUT RACISTS

Rangers chairman John McClelland has vowed to root out the racist fans who booed whenever Celtic's Bobo Balde and Momo Sylla had possession during his club's Old Firm derby defeat on Saturday.

"We do not want people who come to games to indulge in racist behaviour like this. Steps will be taken to make sure we weed these people out and I urge fans not to conduct themselves in this fashion."

made his Rangers debut against Celtic at Celtic Park two days later, a match Rangers lost 2-0. During the game Walters was subjected to monkey chanting and some Celtic fans threw bananas on the pitch.

Gerry Britton, then on the groundstaff at Celtic, was one of the apprentices charged with clearing the bananas from the pitch the following day. "It was truly sickening," he recalls. "There were dozens of them, scattered everywhere."
