Wonderful, Wonderful presentation! I was born and raised in Waterville...3rd generation, and can't think of a better place in which to have lived. The photos were before my time, but many of the buildings remain. Great ending with the two cent bridge. My father walked it countless times as he went to and from work at the Scott Mill for 35 years. Thank you!

I was born in Waterville, Maine and my entire lived here until a few in the 60's moved out to California to find better work and opportunities. No one ever forgot their roots in Maine though and we were all very proud to call ourselves 'Mainers'. Thank you for doing this work to preserve memories of Maine and the city we love. We owe you a debt of gratitude. Marie Jeanne Lacombe (Veilleux) cousin of the founder's of The Veilleux Funeral Home (My grandmother), Pierre Lacombe, my grandfather. RIP
