Beloved Friend

This is Peyton, my friend's guide dog. He's a black and tan lab. She's releasing him from duty due to some circumstances that have caused him not to want to be a working dog anymore. As hard as that is for her, she always puts the dogs welfare first. As you can see, Peyton is very healthy and happy and will have a great life romping and playing...and eating. He may get certified as a therapy dog at some point. I believe he would be wonderful at that. He's been great therapy for me already. have a great life friend Peyton.

yeah he really is. Black and tans are rare. if i have it right, it's a recessive gene and both parents have to carry it for the puppy to come that way. we're sorry too. but he will live a long happy life in a house full of love. thanks and take care.
