The servo will work in water for quite a while without plasti dip. There are a number of o-rings on the servo to begin with.

when you first dipped it did you take any thing apart or did you just disconnect it form the car and straight into the dip?

I took the servo and reciever out of the car and put plasti dip on the servo after it dried I put it in the water like so

Does plasti dip dry to a rubberlike feel? Or does it dry hard and plasticky?

it drys to a rubber feel but a hard rubber
