  • I thought the silent clock that they used when Walker was being buried in season 7 was extremely powerful.

  • i think Paul Raines should have gotten a silent clock

  • Why did Edgar get a silent clock in Season 5 and Milo didn't in Season 6? He was a very good supporting character and he was in the first season if I recall correctly. Hell, George Mason got one in Season 2 and he didn't even die. He did a few episodes later. They should have waited to use the silent clock after the bomb went off in the desert, killing Mason. That would have been better in my opinion.

  • when edgar died and they used the silent clock, that was very moving :(

    (season 5)

  • @OneWeirdDude It would've made sense if Paul Raines got the silent clock. He saved Jack's life earlier in the season and Jack somewhat betrayed him by letting him die. It could also signify the major split in his relationship between him and Audrey since she screamed at Jack and slapped him and said she hated him.

  • @BigTEntertainmnet It wasn't big enough, though, if you ask me. (Or maybe I'm just trying to see their side, who knows.) Usually they're for something either crippling (e.g. Teri, and Jack quits CTU; or Edgar, and the CTU survivors almost perish, too) or dangerous (George Mason's departure, where he almost takes Jack with him; or the attack on Renee Walker). At least that's my take; as Spock might say, emotions are not always logical.

  • End of season 6 was justifiable because it was the last time Jack was going to see Audrey and it was his most emotional scene of the season

Season 7 with Renee was just a waste because she ended up surviving...I mean Jack has pretended to kill people before (Season 1 with Nina)

  • jejeje i know... kinda deseperating but deff important part of 24's soul

  • Actually, they use silent clocks when "something high in emotion" happens. When Palmer was almost assassinated, he got a silent clock. When he really did die, he didn't get one. (Partly because almost everyone knew it would happen)

  • i didnt think they sould have put a silent clock at the end of redemption and 6, it ruined the fact that silent clocks i tihnk r supposed to b put in when something sad happend, like terri, ryan and edgar dying
