Liquid Assets tells the story of essential infrastructure systems: water, wastewater, and stormwater. Out of sight, beneath our feet, these systems are in disrepair across the country. Fixing them may be the largest public works project in our history.

Fantastic 4 minutes. What keeps us healthy and strong is the fact that we have newer and up to date water/wastewater facilities and infrastructure. Out of sight out of mind, indeed. Worrying about trace amounts of pharmaceuticals and a declining flouridation push is second to overall public health. Ask the people of Mexico what a poor sanitation apparatus and gov't waste has brought them and they'd probably resond with "the flu". Advanced water/wastewater is part of advancing civilization.
