  • I've come here five times to hear this beautiful salute to Trigger. Beautifully written, beautifully sung, and beautiful memories for me. Roy and Trigger are special to me and have been for over 60 yrs. God Bless you for sharing.

  • It's amazing how someone that was the role model Roy was can still impress young people of today. All it takes it to be exposed to someone like Roy and Dale, and you're hooked. I just wish you could've lived in the fifties, like I did. He's still my hero. Still, at 62.

  • im only 14 but can say that this is a fab video and song, just goes to show how the values of the past can make a impression on today, thank you

  • OMG, this brought tears to my eyes. I remember when Trigger died. It was sad.

  • Trigger truly was Roys' best friend. What a very impressive video, that reminisces how Roy & Trigger were a match made in the paddock, you could say! Miss them both!

  • I was there at the rodeo in Boston Ma when Gene turned over the King of the Cowboys to Roy because Gene was headed for WW2. I will always remember that day. This was a beautifully done video.

  • "More hay, Trigger?"

    "No thanks, Roy. I'm stuffed."

  • @rottenapples3 he was both ...he was a registered Tennessee Walker name Allens Gold Zepher and he did produce ..you can look up his decendents look up Westwood Farms

  • @rottenapples3 stallion means an uncut male ( stud ) He remained un cut and never sired, all his life.

  • Trigger is a palomino not a stallion.
