Only Kelsey Grammer could play Dr. Alfred Bellows, Colonel of the United States Air Force i na Remake of Jeannie. Bellows was Professional, Funny and Restected teh Uniform at all times. Bellows was Professionally trying ti Retain his Sanity after Tony Nelson is trying inadvertently to Cause him to go Nuts !

I believe Sidney Sheldon was inspired by Molnar's "The Guardsman" (which featured Lunt & Fontanne on Broadway, and a 1931 film version) to write this one.

@TheRealArtzilla there's a part 3 on another account but part 1 is nowhere to be found :'( I'm so mad that this episode isn't on Hulu.

BEST SCENE EVER
Tony: You're kidding. You really don't know who Dr. Tiffin-Smythe is?
Roger: No, who is he?
Tony: He's me!
Roger: Who's you?
[Tony notices Dr. Bellows walking in.]
Tony: Who's what?
Roger: Who's you?
Tony: Roger, I'm me and you're you. And that's what makes the world go 'round, isn't it, Dr. Bellows?
Dr. Bellows: I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about.

Of course, 'sagi'! Jeannie may be naive at times (note the scene in part one where she whistles back at some Air Force officers who whistle at her in the corridor, before she enters Tony's office), but she's NOT stupid [at least, in Sidney Sheldon's scripts]. His best stories usually involved the perennial "battle of the sexes", made even more interesting by the fact they concerned "Master" and "Genie" (we knew SHE had the advantage over him!).
