  • I have the CD of Requiem for My Friend - I went out and bought it after hearing it once at a friend`s house. The whole work is a masterpiece, and the Lacrimosa moves me to tears. Sadly, Preisner does not get the recognition he richly deserves - I`m speaking for the UK.

  • Such a beautiful piece of music.

  • @ur25lipca a okej, wszystko jasne, no przynajmniej dla ludzi znając j.polski :)

  • @HitByTime haha, dolphins acting in this clip to lacrimosa is definitely inexplicable and mysterious..

  • Zrobić klip do tak wspaniałej muzyki, to arcydzieło. Piękne. :)

  • i heard it live few months ago in a church in Wrocław. i'll never forget it.

  • niesamowite - Preisner genius

  • Such a beautiful song...like the duet in Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. So happy Mallick put this in "The Tree of Life", mixes beautifully with the Big Bang scene.

  • I'm glad I found this. It is truly beautiful, stunning progression in the melody and an emotional climax as impressive as in any piece I've ever heard. As the Milky Way Galaxy is formed in Terence Malick's "The Tree of Life" this piece plays, and it perfectly captures the grandiosity of the heavens. The highlight of a film that is undoubtedly a masterpiece.

  • I knew this haunting music from a recording by soprano Sumi Jo in the CD called "Prayers." Whe I saw Terrence Malick's film "The Tree of Life" and heard the music begin, I was absolutely thrilled that he had used it in his movie and so

    brilliantly well.
