  • muslims are the inventers of scientific thought

algebra means al-jabar wal muqabaila and it is invented by al-khawarzami the great muslim mathematitian of ancient world

ibn e seena who wrote the qanoon-fil- tib which is pronounced as cannon of medicine

  • As the video explains, the idea of explaining the natural world with reason was something that the ancient Greeks developed. This predates the existence of Islam by centuries.

It depends on your definition of the term "scientific thought". It's really something that evolved over the centuries from the ancient Egyptians until the time of Newton and Galileo when the modern idea of science really came into focus.

Read the wikipedia entry on "History of Science" for more details.

  • @theinquisitor Did you forget Sumer? They invented mathematics, medicine, astronomy the wheel etc.. Calendar. This was 6000 years ago.

  • But the ironic thing is, in my opinion, just now, with the most modern theories, we don't now know - there COULD be such things as gods and spirits. They are not planets of course, but. After all, what is a spirit but an alien without a body, an energy being from an immaterial universe? We now know we live in just one universe of an infinite multiverse, each with different properties and physical laws. Almost certainly there are such universes and such entites out there somewhere!

  • @kurtilein3 many of them got inspired by ancient greeks -for example look at the american independence

  • Also, it can even be argued that science in the modern sense didn't exist until Galileo. Aristotle's ideas about falling bodies were taken on authority and not tested for centuries until Galileo actually did the experiments. He practically invented the modern conception of empirical science, where attempts are made to falsify hypotheses, rather than merely attempts to affirm them.

The progress from mysticism to science seems more evolutionary than revolutionary in my opinion.

  • I'm by no means certain, but I think that the Greeks picked up their astronomical and mathematical work from where the Babylonians left off rather than by invading Egypt.

If I'm not mistaken, the Greek invasion of Egypt occurred long after the Greeks had knowledge of such things. Maybe the Babylonians picked it up from the ancient Egyptians, but I don't know if there's any good evidence regarding that far back into history. If you have any sources, I'd be interested in knowing of them.

  • m1 u1 x m2 u2 =m1 v1 m2 v2

collision theory is not to kill m2 but to dimish its velocity of dis-order

islam is a total order and it is a velocity in the direction of order only

in total order the specific thing is not ur irregular work but it is ur deep emotional conciousness of order which influences u to do always best for whole humanity

  • muslims were the signtists not scientists becouse they believe in order ( peace al-islam ) they study in the field of signs of order

it may be social order or physical order

  • Does this mean you'll kill people for disavowing science as well as apostasy of islam?

  • To deny muslim contribution is foolish and should be dismissed as such.Any dialogue with a racially or religiously driven argument is fruitless.

When the arabs under the banner of islam came to europe, they reported untold misery and suffering. It is only because of their science that europe experienced the renessance
