Brianna Helps Dad With Earth Hour At All4tubekids (a Little Girl Makes a Difference)

Here is a special day to conserve energy. We turned off our lights for one hour to help reduce energy consumption. We were amazed to see many neighbors doing the same thing.

Many people throughout North America and around the world will be turning off the lights for an hour starting at 8:00 p.m. their local time.

We are very conservative about energy usage every day. We use energy efficient appliances and bulbs. We spend more time as a family enjoying the world outside the house so there is very little power usage at home. We walk to places of interest that are close by instead of driving in the car. We use solar rechargeable lighting to light up our backyard eating area and sidewalks for night time outdoor fun.

This was just family fun. We participated in an Earth Hour demonstration. Little things like this help set some good character for our kids. They felt like they were doing something very special and important for our world and best of all they were enjoying the quality time spent while demonstrating, it was like an adventure. When they get older I am sure they will have their own opinions and views on global warming and energy conservation.
