Thank you for sharing this.. really helped me through bracing my first steel string top! I like the theory behind the X-shape bracings... Im gonna apply that, and a mix of Cumpiano's layout as well.

I'm curious about one thing that I've been trying to research (but for which I've found few results in my search) - how is the top radiused? Is the radius created by gluing the braces with the radius on them to the board, or some other way?

@themurkar The braces are radiused in the dish, they are then glued to the soundboard or back in the dish as well.
