Eleanor Davies studied Art and Art History at school after which she was accepted into the Chelsea School of Art to study Design. Following a move to Toronto, Canada in the early nineties, she decided she wanted to venture into Film and Television and enrolled to study Drama at Ryerson Polytechnic, Toronto.
Soon after receiving her Diploma, she started working regularly, mainly acting in American/Canadian television series, much to the amusement of her friends back home in England who would often catch episodes of 'Due South', 'Robocop' and 'Traders'. Realizing that the industry could be incredibly fickle, she combined auditions with a correspondence course at the New York School of Interior Design, gaining a Diploma in Interior Design.
With a new string added to the bow, Eleanor decided to start a parallel career and started working for an Interior Design company in Toronto, which proved to be the perfect solution to times of 'drought' on the television side.
Having moved back to London several years ago, Eleanor has presented a series for Five (primetime) called Property Dreams, House Auction C4 and for the past 18 months has been a regular presenter on GMTV, presenting everything from Buying Property Abroad to the travel slot, Great Escapes.
