I just dont understand what harm an individual is doing sitting in their home smoking or eating cannabis. Even if you ate 5 ounces of cannabis, which is almost physically impossible, you would not overdose, 3 bottles of bacardi will put you straight into the casket though. I dont get it... really I dont. What is the difference between the psychological alteration associated with cannabis and that which is associated with alcohol?... Seriously think of the tax benefits a nation could gain.

Cannabis is NOT on the Misuse of Drugs Act list because it's dangerous but because big business would stand to lose MILLIONS if it were made legal, and so give MILLIONS to Government to maintain it's 'illegality' status!

Big Business = Pharma, Oil, Petrol, Diesel, Clothing, Paper, Plastics etc. etc. etc

I do not judge anyone who after a days work goes home and has a glass of wine or a pint to relax but i hate the way people criticize the bloke who goes home after a hard days work puts the kettle on and has a joint with a cuppa . i would be willing to be taxed on it the same as alcohol and tobacco . cannabis is only a gateway drug if u buy from a dealer who sells hard drugs .this could employ loads of people in the UK and hemp paper bags could be a great replacement for plastic supermarket bags

you happy that your tax money pays for a plant grower to be in prison? how much does it cost in court fees, monthly prison charges... and icing on the cake... prison companies privatised! the public should own the laws and own the resources and own the infrastructure - we should define the country, not the government.

growing your own cannabis, and selling it... means you can start earning without working for the system. we are literally just being held under control. how people can allow such restrictions, whether you use cannabis or not... we deserve to do what we want, we pay with our taxes, time and lives. so much crime and corrpution that should be sorted before even thinking to restrict the growing of a plant... wakey wakey - just need the old tossers to die out... roll on next generation
