@1up20x6 Thanks. If we had gore and fatality, the SNES version would have been epic, just imagine. I bet Nintendo also did plenty of imagining once they started to see those sale numbers going down, and the success of the Genesis version. Btw, the Genesis version sucked, the graphics sucked, the sound was ridiculous and most of it missing, but still, it was better because it had the original fatalities and blood. To be safe, I have them all today, SNES, Genesis and the home version, PC.

The fatalities on the snes version were fuckin stupid.

Thats what i think, raidens snes Fatality is one of my fav of all time

How can simply reducin' one to ashes be better than blowin' up someone's head?
-
wheres the sound!!!
-
dude how do you use the fatality moves?
i can never figure it out.

Raiden's on SNES is far superior to the arcade original. It's better than any of Raiden's fatalities from any other MK game and it was only created due to censoring.

i like scorpion's
Kano pulls out some chest hair and holds his hand up (or if done on Sonya, he grabs her boobs then proceeds to admire the hand that got to second base) and Johnny Cage kills you with what, fatal foot odor?
I grew up playing the SNES version, but the fatalities make any sense. Only Sub-Zero and Raiden's made some sense, but the originals were better in my opinion.
Of course, Liu Kang's fatality just plain sucked in every version and system that there was instead of just the SNES.

@MSfeller I also grew up on the SNES version, and I feel the same way, although I'll always prefer Sub-Zero's SNES fatality to the original. Also, those are the best descriptions of Kano's and Cage's fatalities I've ever seen.
