∘ This is a fanmade teaser trailer made for the book (and later to become a movie) 'The Hunger Games.'

I recently read it (this week) and I'm quite obsessed with it at the moment, which is saying a lot because in my opinion, I don't get truly obsessed very easily. :)

∘ Fun fact of the day? This video contains 8 layers of video and 15 layers of audio. All I can say to that is thank god I don't use Sony Vegas. TROLOLOO

∘ "In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. ∘ This book isn't of the horror genre in my opinion, but it definitely has aspects of it. It's more of an adventure novel.. it's smart, scary at times and has romance. But, this is what I think would appeal most of my subscribers (Supernatural anyone?), so I chose to go on this path for it.

The reason I have clip(s) of Effy (Kaya Scodelario) is she is a lot of people's Katniss, and I've been told she might be going up for the part. SO YAY!

Such gorgeous editing! I have yet to read this series (horrible, I know! I will though, asap!) but from what I've heard of it description wise, this video captured the all-consuming aura that the world in the books has. I'm in love with this. Oh, and what editing software do you use, if it's not SV?

@K8Video .. the way u captured the atmosphere & feeling with the way u used not just pictures but sounds (I freakin' LUV how u used sounds in this) & texts too.. it's exactley how I imagine this trailer to this book should be. You captured it all with this! :) If someone can't see how indepth & amazing this is then they're obviously not paying enough attention & are definatley missing out! I would kill to be able to create something as amazing as this! :) I just thought you should know that! :)

Without this video I would'nt be reading the 3rd HG book right now.. (yes I commented on this video 3 months ago.. but I'm a slow reader!
