Simple Minds "I Travel" Live on French TV. Does anyone have any further information. Its looks like it was recorded in 1982. Please excuse the grainy footage!! Best version of the song i've heard because of the massive reverb and 'rawness' of performance. I did not like that at around 2:50 the word 'Fire' was repeated in lieu of Brian Eno as it was a funny yet classical part of the song.

@snortbrick I have done sound for bands in the past and noticed when there is a cluster fuck or malfunction of equipment ,some artists get uptight stop , and look ,or be visually frustrated. Some artists keep their cool, ride out the storm, move slower and carry on regardless ...a sign of a Professional !

The songs broadcast on "The Tube" on November 1982 were Hunter and the Hunted, Someone Somewhere in Summertime,New Gold Dream and the unbroadcast at that time The American I have the full recording of The American not the edited clip that appeared on the Easter Special in 1983 I may upload it soon.
