On second thought, it may actually have a good use? As a highspeed video camera, didn't realize it had that feature, good for exploding objects!! Now have to find one!

I played around with the J1 a while and was surprised I didn't hate it. Actually, it could be a quite decent travel/family events camera. Although I feel I would miss the viewfinder, Graham makes a good point. For such a small camera, it probably isn't that comfortable. For the money, stick with the E-P3 or X100, depending on your needs. Those will be much more versatile too, especially the E-P3.
