  • Ah, 2001, the good old days....saw them three times that year...got a pic with Ian, his autograph on one of my cds and a drumstick form Matt Sorum....what a year. :)

  • @LoriWatford Yea,they worked it hard that year.Everybody I know seemed to really like "Rise" and if anyone saw them live (specially MusicMidtown) they knew something special was happening.Even if they had never heard of them.Someone asked before The Cult went on,why Cheap Trick did not headline/close the show that night at MusicMidtown. She found the answer to that question midway through the first song.....

  • Pure class, seeing them for the 3rd time at rock city nottingham, bring it on. Ian and Billy are simply awesome......! great post thank you.

  • @carlosdeno I agree, when they want to,they can bring it like no other band.Whether it's 100 thousand or 2000 people.Atlanta's Music Midtown in 2001 is a great example of their power. They shook the ATL hard.

  • My favourite song from my favourite Cult album! Thanks!!

  • @jenipi No problem,glad you like it.

  • saw them this year in bochum-germany. coolest rock band ever. as wiser they get as better they are on stage... waiting for the next tour dates in europe :-)

  • I saw them perform at an Atlanta festival in 2001 (around this time). These songs sounded better live because they were a bit overly produced on record. Ian looks dressed like he works a vendor stand in NY.

  • KEWL!

  • Twice in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Raleigh, NC and Chalotte, NC in the past two years......I'm ready to see them again!

  • kick ass performance!!!!!
